o   YES! In accordance with the Q2.2 charging standard most phones and all popular brands will work and charge at a minimum 15Watts and for newer phones up to 25 Watts.

·         Does the system interface with the car?

o   The system does control the OEM charging indicator lights but does not talk over CANBUS. The following table lists out the conditions when the light is on.

Light Status:

Condition:

Constant Blue/Green Light

Phone is charging.

Flashing Yellow

·         Is this injection molded plastic?

o   No, currently this is 3D printed ABS plastic. ABS is the material of choice for vehicle interiors as it can withstand those hot summer months. The 3D printed ABS is then vapor smoothed to provide a better finish that more closely resembles the piano black interior. If you’d prefer a raw 3D printed finish you can send us a message and we can accommodate. We are looking into getting a manufacturer to injection mold these in the future for a seamless look.

·         Does this work with 2025 and up model year EV6s or Ioniq 5?

o   Currently we only support 22-24 Kia EV6s and 22-24 Hyundai Ioniq 5s. Please check the roadmap for vehicles we’re working on.

·         How do I remove the original charger?

o   Please take a look at the “instructions” tab to find your vehicles installation and removal instructions.
